The Setback of Talent

Everyone has their own talent in one way or another. Some may prove more useful than others through the course of life though. There is however one problem that affects many people who has very useful talents. They begin to turn lazy because of having these gifts.

Not all of them are like that but many end up being so. The reason is very simple actually. For the early part of our lives things were easy and people with talent can just breeze through with minimal to zero effort. What happens however is this makes them cocky. It creates a belief that everything is just a walk in the park with their special gift.

Only as things get harder, they realize how wrong they are. Many however have already fall too deep into this illusion that they created themselves with them being special and unwilling to put in so much effort. Life will give you one tight slap in the face to wake you up. You might be pushed way back from your original path but it's never too late to change and walk again. Sure, there are regrets for not understanding the limits of your own talent but to move forward is more important.

So if you have talent, don't be cocky and put in the effort to use it well. Don't slack and waste the talent given.  Don't turn back and regret for thinking talent without effort could bring you anywhere.

Talent may make people lazy

Human

The current society is human orientated. What we tend to focus on is the life revolving around human civilization. We have deviated from the original source of life, the mother earth. We are always distracted from it with everything in our lives revolving around what humans have created.

How often do you step away from the built up civilization and back into Mother Nature? People today bring along their cellphones even when they go camping in the jungle. We have grown so dependent on our connection to the society that we no longer take our time to connect with the nature.

Not noticing isn’t the biggest problem here, the bigger problem is that we notice it but we don’t care. We choose to live according to what the society is pushing us to. We choose to follow where we’ve been pointed to because it has done us no harm. It’s not wrong to do so however, it’s just amusing how we’ve actually come to be so.
